Hey Eric,

Thanks for the input man. I really struggled with the arrangement of the pieces to this one, so I definitely would be ready to rework it. Thanks for the reminder that I need to get a "studio" album done too. Been wanting to for a long time, but just not had the ability to do so yet. I appreciate the listen and feedback.

Hi Andrew, i just read through your article and agree that change is imminent. Music and good lyrics is what I look for. I'll be keeping an eye out for your next piece of work.
So from one song writer to another.
Well Done.

Hey Ty,

Awesome...thanks so much for the feedback...I agree with you and am going to implement this stuff! Just got some great new drums (Superior Drummer 2.0 from Toontracks) and am already blown away by how much better they sound than loops.

For those who don't know Ty's band Neighbor Poem, they are really good; so check out this folk, rock, fiddle jammin' band by clicking the url above or go to their MySpace.

Hey buddy! Groovy tune but here are my criticisms:
I agree with Alan- the way the song rolls along makes that ending a little too abrupt. That being said, don't cop out like the Beatles and just fade it out! Also, I'd cut some of the reverb on the main vocal, not too much, maybe just two notches less- to bring out the lyrics a little more. One last thing- I'd vary the drum track's feel from chorus to verse, maybe a half-time feel on the verse, similar to the song's intro. These are really minute suggestions- I think it rocks overall. Good luck with it!

Alan, thanks so much...I really appreciate the feedback. Think I'll take this one back into the toolbox and try to do some more tinkering. I agree with your idea.
