Raw Chocolate Makes for Tasty Tunes
Yesterday I was thinking about Chocolate and my favorite kind of chocolate is raw chocolate! I got my first taste of raw chocolate via Gnosis founder Vanessa Barg. Vanessa (A.K.A. Chocolate Girl) is a hip chick that peddles chocolatey goodness to the world via her kick butt company, and she’s helping bring better health and education to others.
We met at Whole Foods in 2010 and had a good conversation about chocolate, healthy eating and email marketing (how’d I work that in?!). As I rambled on, I was impressed by her passion and sheer joy for health and nutrition. Upon tasting her raw chocolate, I was induced into a euphoric state of bliss. Okay, that might be over selling it a bit, but it felt really good to eat something that you knew was at its highest form and had bio-availabilty of the nutrients within.
Anyhow, without me getting into why raw is good for you and such (you can find out more from Vanessa’s website), I wanted to share this new tune I wrote with you.
The song was written for Vanessa, or more appropriately, her alter-ego, “Chocolate Girl”. I was thinking about chocolate, wishing I had some good raw chocolate, and also thinking…’It would be cool to write a song about a chocolate girl.’
Vanessa really is an inspiration and visionary innovator and so I wanted to also give a little tribute out to her and the goodness of raw chocolate. I highly recommend you get your hands on some Gnosis Chocolate…it’s freaky-deaky delicious, and it’s actually good for you!
