So I am digging in deeper into becoming a better businessman for all things Andrew Hand music. It is definitely a field full of information that is quite available if you start looking. I have just come across a business coach/consultant who really has a lot to offer and a good amount of it free. His name is Kavit Haria and his company Inner Rhythm is a great tool. Another fantastic resource and friend I’ve made is NYC Cyber Publicist Ariel Hyatt. She offers so much great free advise and is really a networker extraordinare.
I used to feel that it was just too much to do on my own (and I still get overwhelmed) but I realize that I just have to keep collecting information on what I need to do to be successful in this new frontier that is the music industry. It is actually pretty exciting to feel so in control of my own destiny. The days of “making it” are just over. You have to go out there and win your fans through hard work and innovation. So I am excited for the future as I continue forward with my project Songs For Oprah and continue growing this concept towards my master goal.
I hope to take the Songs For Oprah project to a wide-reaching place that can involve other musicians, create content for fans and use revenues of these goods to give to charity. I envision having sponsors and doing events that aim to educate, empower and make a difference in the world. So that’s my pledge. I look forward to having my fans along for the ride with me.
